Kathmandu to Pokhara by Bus & Nayapul by Car
7 Days Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Driving: 206 km, 6/7 hrs. Trail Attractions: Trisuli River, Malekhu Village, Mugling Village, Marshyandi River, Pokhara City. Max Altitude: 1300 m (Kathmandu). Overnight: Hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Tikhedunga.
Driving: 45 km, 1:30 hrs. Walking: 4 hrs. Trail Attractions: Beautiful Lumle Village, Modi River, Rhododendron Forest, and Birethanti Village. Max Altitude: 1,577 m (Tikhedunga). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 03: Trek to Ghorepani.
Walking: 6 hrs. Trail Attractions: Ulleri Village, Magar Village, views of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Hiun Chuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Annapurna South. Max Altitude: 2,675 m (Ghorepani). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 04: Hike to Poon Hill & Trek to Tadapani.
Walking: 4/5 hrs. Trail Attractions: Sunrise view from Poon Hill, and Annapurna Massif like Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), II (7937m), III (7855m), IV (7525m), Annapurna South Mountain (729m), Nilgiri (6940m), Tukuche (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Lamjung Himal (6931m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and many other peaks. Max Altitude: 3,180 m (Poon Hill). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Ghandruk.
Walking: 3 hrs. Trail Attractions: Oak, rhododendron forest, and other alpine flowers, Ghandruk Village. Max Altitude: 1,940 m (Ghandruk). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara.
Walking: 3 hrs. Drive: 1:30 hrs. Trail Attractions: views Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (fishtail) and Annapurna III. Max Altitude: 1,940 m (Ghandruk). Overnight: Hotel.
Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu.
